Eight Characteristics of 3PE Anticorrosive Steel Pipe

The base materials of 3PE anti-corrosion steel pipes include seamless steel pipes, spiral steel pipes, and straight seam steel pipes. The three-layer polyethylene (3PE) anti-corrosion coating has been widely used in the petroleum pipeline industry due to its excellent corrosion resistance, water and gas permeability resistance, and mechanical properties. The anti-corrosion layer of 3PE anti-corrosion steel pipe is crucial for the lifespan of buried pipelines. During winter construction, due to the good impact resistance of materials, pipelines will not become brittle.

5.- The polyethylene material used for 3pe steel pipes does not add heavy metal stabilizers during the processing, and the material is non-toxic and harmless. It is a green pipe. Polyethylene materials can be recycled and will never pollute the environment.

6.- The polyethylene material used in the recently developed flame retardant and anti-static 3pe steel pipe is suitable for flammable and explosive places.

7.- The safe and reliable connection method for the polyethylene material used in 3PE steel pipes is mainly hot melt or electric melt connection, which basically maintains the consistency of the interface material, structure, and pipe body, achieving the integration of the joint and pipe, effectively resisting circumferential stress. Axial tensile stress and oblique stress are caused by internal pressure, and there is no worry of water or air leakage.
